I started painting as a hobby during my 4th year at school. When moved on to College to studying Fashion design I took a high interest in modern art and abstract piece through hi couture clothing and fashion illustration.

It was after I completed my course that I concentrated more on my own design and paintings. I have always been interested in the human form due to my design work.

All of my piece have been inspired by personal experiences. I’m highly inspired by human emotions and find my best pieces have been created when I myself have been under certain emotions, fear, happiness and even envy. I feel this gives my art a depth that can be seen by each viewer. I like to put people into my emotions through my work.

I like experimenting with different mediums however I primarily use water-based acrylics. I feel this media gives me the freedom to paint delicately and heavily-based when needed.

I have only just recently joined the Forecourt Art Group and this year will be the first time I have ever exhibited my work. I am very excited to see the reaction of the public and the artists themselves.
